DecoCrete offers a wide range of Epoxy, Urethane Concrete, Acid Stain, Stamped Concrete, and Polished Concrete products.

Epoxy is a versatile polymer product that encompasses a wide variety of adhesives. These adhesives are used to create many different flooring systems to serve the needs of various customers. Epoxy can be used to protect concrete, repair damaged floors, or add a decorative finish to a high traffic area.

These versatile products can be used alone as a Coating, or with a variety of color additives such as paint chips, or color quartz for decorative effects. Decorative additives also add slip resistance and thickness. These products can vary from thin mil coatings to 3/8" trowel finishes and have a variety of chemical resistance based on the chemistry of the product.

Epoxies can also be used for grouting or sloping a floor to drain. DecoCrete specialized in sloping floors to drain in wash down areas, commercial kitchen and research facilities. Epoxy grout can be installed quickly without slowing the process of installing the finish products.

Coatings can be applied by airless sprayers or squeegee/roller application depending on the specified application technique. Coatings are designed to protect concrete from stains, penetration, and dusting. These products are most commonly found in automobile dealerships, garages, warehouses, mechanical rooms, and storage areas. Many coatings can be installed to protect against high acid, base, or solvent spillage, and slip-resistant additive can be added to areas where safety is a priority.

Color Quartz Flooring can be installed in several different manners. Trowel grade quartz can be hand or machine troweled to achieve a 3/16" to " consistence quartz finish. More commonly, Broadcast grade quartz can be installed as a system itself or on an epoxy mortar base to achieve a decorative slip-resistant finish. Locker rooms, commercial kitchens, natatoriums, rest rooms, high traffic corridors, animal research facilities, and pharmaceutical facilities can all benefit from Color Quartz Flooring; however, this flooring is not limited to these facilities. Color Quartz Flooring also gives the customer a unique ability to develop a Custom Color Scheme. Proprietary Color

Concepts are helpful in assuring the Professional integrity of future repairs.

Color Flake is much like Color Quartz. It is broadcast into clear epoxies to achieve a unique slip-resistant decorative finish and can be used in the same areas as Color Quartz.

All of the epoxy systems can be installed with integrated radius cove base finished with the same finish as the floor. This base will provide a watertight integrated system for wash down, and easy maintenance. Cove base is mortar applied therefore customizing radius, and finish details is seamless.

Urethane Concrete

Urethanes come in many varieties; like epoxies they are water based, solids, or solvent based materials. Most urethane coatings are high gloss and retain their gloss very well over time. Most urethanes are light stable and are suitable as warehouse coatings, airplane hanger floors, or as topcoats on epoxy floors to resist ware and heat. The newest urethanes on the market are called UERTHANE CONCRETES; these products are installed as thick overlay materials suitable for almost any environment, but mostly used in the Food Production environment. It is a Green Product and will withstand very high temperatures and constant saturation in liquids.

Urethane coatings are typically water based or solvent based and will resist abrasion well and retain their finish better than epoxies. Urethanes are typically more expensive but are installed much thinner, resulting in a similar installation cost.

Urethane Concrete products were developed in Europe for the food production industry and have found their way to the United States. These products are commonly used in Breweries, Bottling Plants, Cage Wash areas, and Commercial Kitchens. In many ways, Urethane Concrete has replaced Epoxy in many applications due to its resistance to high temperatures, impact, and moisture.

Stained Concrete

Stained Concrete hit the major markets less than a decade ago and is here to stay, however it has evolved into many different applications and products. DecoCrete, Inc. stays involved in learning all of the new applications and products in this fast changing industry. Most of the products first on the market were acid based stains, and while these stains still give the most varied and modeled finishes, water based and solvent based dyes and stains are now available for a wide range of colors and finishes. DecoCrete, Inc. can also design and install custom logos and decorative patterns in multi color designs.

Polished Concrete

Polished Concrete is the newest technology that DecoCrete, Inc. has invested in. It combines the natural look of stained concretes with the polished sheen of marble of granite. It uses the natural variations in concrete and its aggregates to achieve a unique finish that is highly durable and resists scratching and ware. The polishing industry is the future of decorative concrete floors and can be installed on new or old concrete utilizing diamond polishing machines and silicate hardeners to achieve a high sheen finished with or without the addition of colors or custom patterns.
